4. Cheating

After being three years with Mª Paz we all already knew how her exams were. When in the first year of high school we had here again for teacher, we were all very happy.

She taught us CMC, a difficult subject because you had to memorize a lot of thing, but with Mª Paz it turned around and for our class it became an hour to have fun or do homework from other subjects. For this reason, we didn't even know what we had to study. Some people read parts of the book so they could write something in the exam but I think that nobody had ever really studied the day before.

As soon as the exam began, you could already hear some noise. Absolutely everybody was cheating, if it wasn't asking the questions, it was telling them to other classmates. People past their sheets from one side of the class to the other one. In the end the half of the class had the same answers.

I don't really know how Mª Paz didn't realize that we all cheated because we actually were very cheeky. We had very good marks without almost doing nothing.

3. My classmates

I am really happy with all of my classmates. We have lived a lot of things together and we have had a lot of fun. Here I am only going to talk about two of them, Rocío and Andrea.

They are two very good friends. I already knew Andrea because she lived in my street but even so we didn't talk very much. That changed because now we are very good friends and we talk almost every day. She is very sweet and she always tries to help you if she cans. I am very happy to have her as a friend. I met Rocio the first day of secondary school. At first we didn't talk nothing and if I tell the truth, we were not very good friends. But with the years I realized that she is a very amusing person. We always laugh a lot when we are together.

I have to say that even though I have only talked about Rocio and Andrea there are many more people in my class that I consider my friends and that I really admire.

2. Teachers

Jose Luis has been my technology teacher in second and third year of secondary education. I did a lot of interesting things in this subject and I had a lot of fun.

I remember that we had to make a project every term. We formed small groups and then we had to work on the project. For example, one term we had to invent a car and built it. When we finished it we always did something amusing with it. With the car project we did a race with all of them finished. We also had to draw a lot of different tools and memorize all of them for the exams.

It wasn`t a very difficult subject but we all needed to work hard and strive. I actually miss a lot the technology classes.

1. EARLIEST MOMENT

I don't rememeber very much about the first day at my secondary school but there are some things that I will never forget.

When I came into the school the first thing that I thought was that it was little and different. I was very nervous because I didn't know who was in my class and neighter where I had to go. I had to search for the class so I lost some time and when I finally find it, I was late.

I came into it and I saw everybody already sitting and my english teacher talking. She was the bilingual coordinator and she explained everything to us. Later I spoke with some of my classmates.

These are my earliest memories but I still have much more to tell.

THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS

SUMMERY
The story is narrated from the point of view of Bruno, the nine year son of a nazi military. Bruno's family is forced to leave Berlin when his father was destined to work in the Auschwitz extermination camp. The family accepts the change with resignation. From the window of his new room, he can see a fence behind which there are people who always wear a "striped pyjamas". That people are Jewish prisoners. One day when he goes exploring round his house he meets through a security fence a little Jewish boy. They become good friends and Bruno continues visiting him. The boy tells the story of his deportation and the terrible conditions of life in the countryside. After several incidents, one day Bruno's mother convinces her husband, and he decides that the field is not a place to live with his family and decides to return to Berlin. Before leaving, Bruno visits his friend to say goodbye. The boy is sad and tells Bruno that he can´t find his father, so he decides to help him. He enters in the field and he gets on a prison uniform. The camp guards force them two to go to a warm and safe place. The story ends when the boys fall into a gas chamber and die with the other Jewish people.

CONNECTOR
I can actually identify me very well with this story because my entire father’s family is Jewish and my grandparents have lived it. They told me a lot of stories about Jewish people and everything that happened. I can understand what Bruno does for his friend without really knowing what’s happening, only to try to help him.

IMPORTANT PART OF THE TEXT
Bruno: Why do you wear pajamas all day?
Shmuel: The soldiers. They took all our clothes away.
Bruno: My dad's a soldier, but not the sort that takes people's clothes away.

I think this part is important because it shows you the innocence of children and how easy it is to put all type of ideas in their minds. When you are a child you can’t be really bad because you don’t even know what Is good and what is bad to do.
